Pabellón Automoción

Built in 1929 for the Barcelona Universal Exposition, it has a very marked industrial aesthetic. It was used as the Palace of Communications and Transport at a time when industrial fairs were multisectoral. It is a space of 14,000m2 and a maximum height of 20m located in the heart of the city. It consists of two main entrances, one from Plaza de Espanya in front of Las Arenas, a neo-Mudejar style building from 1900, and the access from Avenida de la Reina Maria Cristina next to the emblematic area of ​​the Montjuïc Fountains and the location of the great popular events of Barcelona such as New Year’s Eve, the Marathon or the Mercè.
